About Us

Joey Hartmann
After graduating from Johnson & Wales University in 2012
I began working in the hospitality industry, from restaurants and resorts to
catering. I eventually took a keen interest in working with whole foods and raw
food.
On my quest of discovering the most nutrient dense and
healthy foods to work with, I have adapted my creations (and diet) to exclude
certain ingredients such as oils, salt (not sodium), vinegars, and fermented
foods.
Starting Discovery Foods in Sedona, AZ in 2023, my primary
creations have been homemade non-fermented chocolate, as well as many
dehydrated foods. Now I have begun expanding further into hospitality, looking
to help others forge healthy relationships with food.
Food can be exciting, and vibrant, and labels can be scary
and overwhelming. I’m looking to dissolve these beliefs that eating healthy is
boring or difficult. We need not be too critical and judgmental in this time of
awakening. Eating locally, seasonally, and balanced is key to a healthy gut to
benefit our body, mind, and soul.
I provide nourishment regarding all things food. My
passion is not just making food but branches out to teaching
people how to make their very own yummy creations. I look forward to
serving you!

Nalah Christine Elise
Practicing as a licensed Esthetician for over a decade and
through devoted self-exploration, she has found value in approaching
skin health holistically. Not only treating the skin with purity from the
outside, but she guides her clients to inquire within about the internal
factors contributing to the health of their body’s largest organ.
Manifesting healthy, beautiful skin goes hand in hand with
harmonizing the
whole body’s health & vitality.
Being a California native, she has always found healing in
the beauty of nature & sound. And offers a space of refuge & renewal to
those who see her. She delights in helping others heal, remember their own
divinity & oneness with our Earth Mother.
